These Terms of Use govern your use of our AI-assisted job application optimization service at https://credenza.app. By accessing or using our service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our service.

Credenza helps job seekers create tailored resumes and cover letters using AI technology that analyzes job postings and optimizes applications for Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

Credenza provides the following services:

• AI-assisted job posting analysis and optimization
• Resume and cover letter generation and customization
• Applicant Tracking System (ATS) optimization
• Job application tracking and management
• Credit-based service usage system

To use our service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Purchase credits to access AI-assisted features
• Use the service for lawful purposes only

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

You agree not to use our service in any way that:

• Violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation
• Infringes on the rights of others, including their intellectual property rights
• Is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading
• Harms or exploits minors in any way
• Attempts to reverse engineer or compromise our AI systems
• Uses automated tools to access our service without permission
• Submits false or misleading job postings or resume information
• Attempts to circumvent our credit-based payment system

Our service operates on a credit-based system:

• Credits are required to use AI-assisted features
• Credits are non-refundable once used
• Unused credits do not expire
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• We do not store or process payment information directly
• Prices and credit packages may change with notice

By purchasing credits, you agree to our pricing and payment terms. All transactions are final unless otherwise specified in our refund policy.

We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Our service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance and updates
• Technical issues or system failures
• Third-party service provider outages
• Force majeure events

We provide customer support through team@credenza.app and will respond to inquiries within a reasonable timeframe.

Our service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Generated content will result in job offers or interviews
• Our AI optimization will guarantee ATS compatibility
• The service will meet your specific requirements
• Defects will be corrected or the service will be free of viruses

We do not guarantee job placement, interview success, or specific outcomes from using our service.

In no event shall Skein Digital Ventures LLC or its affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our service, including but not limited to:

• Loss of job opportunities or career advancement
• Financial losses related to job applications
• Data loss or privacy breaches
• Service interruptions or technical issues
• Inaccurate or inappropriate generated content

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the use of our service shall not exceed the amount you paid for credits in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Use by reference.

By using our service, you consent to:

• The collection and processing of your resume and job application data
• The use of AI technology to analyze and optimize your content
• The storage of your data for service provision and improvement
• Communication regarding your account and service updates

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms of Use
• Fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Non-payment or payment disputes
• Extended periods of inactivity

You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination:

• Your access to the service will be immediately suspended
• Unused credits may be forfeited
• Your data will be deleted within 30 days
• No refunds will be provided for used credits

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes in our service, business practices, or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or through a prominent notice on our service.

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, with the arbitration to be held in Casper, Wyoming.
